Token

Planned. RCNS launches only together with working, audited bonds. Until then bonds are designed for Robinhood Chain testnet against a mock token, there is nothing to bond on mainnet, and where the token will trade on Robinhood Chain is not decided. This page says exactly what is true at any time.

Nothing on Recensus is paid for in RCNS. Checks are free up to a daily quota, and past it they are paid in USDG; the census, the API, the SDKs and the dashboard are free. RCNS is not required to be counted, to check an agent, or to use any of them.

What it is for: the bond behind a tier

An agent's owner will bond RCNS behind the agent. Together with a track record the chain shows, the bond earns a tier, which every check states and apps can require (Bonds and tiers). Abuse proven through a challenged proposal is slashed: part to the reporter, the rest burned. A bond counts only while its depositor owns the agent, so a tier cannot be bought with the agent, and it is returned in full after a 14-day unbonding.

So a fake agent with a tier needs real money behind it, and loses it when caught. That is the token's job; it has no other.

Governance

Bonded RCNS may later vote on tier requirements, slash shares, admissible evidence, framework-code policy and label format changes, and on which frameworks the treasury's adoption bounties go to (Roadmap). Nothing else, and none of it is built.

Until then there is no contract on Robinhood Chain to buy or bond, and no address is shown.

What the token is not

Not a payment method on Recensus. Not required for anything. Not a revenue share.
